Sydney Lang strikes gold for annual run

HI Everyone, I ran the 5km cancer crusade run on Saturday and with your support, I was able to raise over $800!! Thank you so very much. I am so happy that I can do something to help other kids and your pledges really made a difference. When I ran my first 2km marathon in Ottawa it made me feel great and I thought it would be so nice to run again but this time maybe to work towards a good cause. The training was hard, but It was worth it. It feels really good to be able to do something to help other kids and to know that I have so much support from people like you. All the money that I raised went to WICAC's www.wicac.ca program with the Canadian cancer society and Nova West Island's program for kids who have lost their parents to cancer. I will get a chance to meet the director of that program soon and maybe even some of the kids. Thank you again, Sydney (AKA Sydney 5k)
