SILENT AUCTION PRIZES UP FOR BIDS
BACKYARD BBQ PARTY
Rob Reside was born at the Catherine Booth hospital in Montreal during the spring of 1960.
Rob grew up in a culinary environment as his Uncle Wilfred Labelle was a food critic, and his Aunt Betty was an accomplished cook.“My aunt made the best Quiche Lorraine, and to this day is one of my favorite dishes,” recalls Rob. Cottage life at St-Jovite offered years of outdoor cooking where he honed his craft on the bbq.
America’s Test Kitchen became Reside’s calling card 16 years ago. The show focused on smoking turkey on the bbq, and it instantly clicked with him as a fun and delicious way of entertaining.
Rob has prepared backyard bbq’s for friends, families, and the Pointe-Claire ladies softball league. He was even flown out to Calgary to help celebrate a 50th birthday party.
Rob wants to help The West Island Crusade against Cancer. He has offered a Backyard BBQ Party for 10 people, which includes the following:
Smoked Turkey
Chili
Salad(s)
Grill plates
Steak sauce and spices
“A BBQ with Rob Reside includes not only delicious 5-star cooking and guarantees succulent recipes, but this amiable chef has a personality with flair as well! It's not just a BBQ, it's an experience," Nancy Purdon, Member of Pointe-Claire Ladies softball
